2. Listings and verification
Listings are informational and marketing presentations based on the approved records available to MAKI. Availability, price, dimensions, location, ownership, advertising licence and other facts may change or require final verification. Inspect the property and verify current official documents and licence status with MAKI before relying on a listing. Report an apparent error through the contact channel with the property reference; MAKI may correct, restrict or withdraw inaccurate or unlawful content.
3. No contract or transfer through the website
Submitting an enquiry, request, viewing appointment or account form does not itself create a sale, lease, brokerage or other binding contract. Binding obligations arise only through a separately executed lawful agreement. No title transfer or payment occurs through this website unless a future service expressly says so under separate applicable terms.
4. Accounts
Provide accurate data, keep credentials confidential, use only your own authorized account and notify MAKI promptly of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until MAKI is notified and can act, subject to applicable law. MAKI may require verification or recent reauthentication for sensitive actions.
5. Acceptable use
You must use the service lawfully. You must not attempt unauthorized access; bypass security or authorization; impersonate another person; submit malicious code, deceptive content, spam or unlawful material; infringe privacy, intellectual-property or other rights; scrape, automate or overload the service in a way that harms availability or evades reasonable limits; probe vulnerabilities without written authorization; or use listing/contact information for unsolicited marketing.
6. User and property content
You must have authority to submit property information, contact details and media and must keep them accurate. Do not upload unnecessary personal data, official identity documents, malware or content owned by others without permission. MAKI may review, correct, restrict or remove content to satisfy law, licence, quality, security or contractual duties while preserving required audit and regulatory evidence.
7. Intellectual property
MAKI’s branding, software, layout, original text and media are protected by applicable rights. Property media may belong to MAKI, the property owner or an authorized licensor. You may view and share canonical listing links for personal property consideration; no broader copying, republication, commercial extraction or derivative use is granted without authorization.
8. Third-party services
External links, maps, social sites and optional authentication providers are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not make MAKI responsible for an external service. Verify the destination before leaving MAKI.
9. Availability, maintenance and enforcement
MAKI aims to maintain a secure and accurate service but may perform maintenance, suspend a feature, restrict abusive traffic, remove unlawful or expired listings, or suspend an account on lawful and proportionate grounds. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Where appropriate, MAKI will provide notice or a review channel without compromising security or legal duties.
10. Responsibility and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by Saudi law, MAKI is not responsible for decisions based solely on unverified listing information or for third-party service failures. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or waives mandatory Saudi consumer, privacy, real-estate or other statutory rights.
11. Complaints and contact
Send service, content or account complaints to info@maki.com.sa with the relevant reference and no unnecessary sensitive data. Privacy requests use the privacy rights workflow. Applicable regulator and judicial complaint rights remain available.
12. Law, jurisdiction and changes
Saudi law governs these terms, and competent Saudi courts or authorities have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory dispute rights. MAKI may update these terms for service or legal changes and will give an appropriate material-change notice. The Arabic and English texts are intended to have the same meaning; where legally permitted and an interpretation conflict remains, the Arabic text controls.
